Disco Dreams at Martindale Schoolhouse

I am seriously so obsessed with these two. Their desire to get down and creative and silly in photos is a dream come true. During our engagement session at Canopy Complex, their excitement and enthusiasm for all my funky ideas gave me that much more of a push to get creative and out of the box. Emily mentioned to me that her and Austin’s wedding was going to be inspired by Kasey Musgraves’ disco glam, and I couldn’t wait for the day to come quick enough!

Arriving to all the disco balls decorating Martindale Schoolhouse and the kick ass details Emily planned, it got my creative juices flowing with ideas. The contrast between the glamorous glitter of the disco balls and the grungy industrial vibe of the venue made for amazing photos.

I loved the moments of them giving eachother their wedding day gifts particularly - Austin giving Emily a gorgeous white motorcycle helmet for her to ride off in for their grand exit(yes, they drove a motorcycle away! so dope.), and Emily giving Austin a boudoir shoot book, and his reaction to that was just so great.

During the reception they opted out of a head table and chose to sit with their friends and family for dinner, a touch I’d never seen before and absolutely loved. Mid reception, the guests were surprised by Emily changing into the most rockin’ jumpsuit I have ever seen! I don’t think I’ll ever stop thinking about how awesome this wedding was.
