Two Badass Babes get married at Spiderhouse Ballroom in Austin, Texas

This wedding is probably going to go down in history as one of my favorites ever. The relaxed party vibes all day, coupled with Ana and Allyse’s never ending love and passion for getting amazing portraits of them was just perfect. We started the day at their apartment down the road from the ballroom, walking the whole way to their wedding. We got to stop at a couple super fun spots that I never would have thought to photograph at had it not been for them! One of which was Party Barn! It is a go to spot for them to grab beer and wine for hangouts, and they wanted to take some fun shots in front of and in the barn, so fun! After that, we continued our walk in the perfect weather, stopping at a bus stop they frequent, and having me drag a very mad Lime scooter over for a portrait in front of a lovely mural.

With our portraits done before the wedding even began, all of the stress was off of them for the day! I always think this is a great idea, that way we have lots of time to shoot, and after the wedding your only responsibility is to party on. Which is exactly what they did. After the first dance and some yummy mexican food from Trudy’s, the dance floor was NON-STOP! This made for the most fun shooting environment ever, I really was a part of the party. We also took a few moments of quiet for the pair toward the end of the party when Allyse changed into a SEQUIN JUMPSUIT (Y E S!), and went outside to do some creative light painting portraits. I find times like this so beneficial for my couples, not only for the amazing photos they create, but also for the time of calm you get amid all of the congratulations and celebrations. Swipe to the end to see some awesome breakdancing moves from Ana!
